How Necessary Is It?
Users do not need to manually set a path for where their files go to on their computers if they are downloading recordings or pictures from the recorders. This is because the recorder has a default path for where it's files go to. However, users may want to change where these files go either for convenience or preference.
Changing The Location
Note: This guide operates on the assumption you already know how to log into the recorder. If you do not know how to, click here.
Note2: This can only be done on the browser. This cannot be done on the recorder itself.
Step 1. Log into the recorder and select "Configuration"
Step 2. Select "Local"
Step 3. Select "Browse" next to the relevant file type.
Step 4. Select a new location for your files. In this example, we choose "My Documents" as the example location.
Step 5. Select "OK" to confirm your choice.
Step 6. Select "Save" in your local settings to save your settings. Your files should now appear in the chosen designation.
